About this service

Oven Cleaning in Anlaby, Willerby & Kirk Ella

We offer professional oven cleaning in Anlaby, Willerby, Kirk Ella and West Ella for single and double ovens, range cookers, AGAs, hobs and extractors. It is a hands-on, non-caustic clean that removes baked-on grease and carbon, and your oven can be used again as soon as we leave, so it suits busy households, keen cooks and landlords getting a property ready for new tenants.

How the clean works in your kitchen

We park the van as close to your door as we can, and with many HU10 homes having a driveway this is usually straightforward. Racks, trays, the fan cover and other removable parts go into the heated dip tank in the van to soak, while we clean inside the oven by hand, take the door apart to reach between the glass panels, and clean the seals, knobs and handles. We protect the floor and worktops and take the waste away with us. If your hob and extractor hood need attention, we can add them to the same appointment, degreasing the hob, pan supports and burners and cleaning the canopy and filters. Pyrolytic ovens, which are common in newer kitchens, have a self-cleaning cycle, but their door glass, racks and seals still need cleaning by hand. For a single oven, expect us to be there for around a couple of hours; our oven cleaning page explains what affects timings.

Range cookers, double ovens and AGAs

Larger kitchens in Kirk Ella and West Ella often have a range cooker with two or three cavities, a separate grill and a wide hob, while some older family homes keep an AGA or similar heat-storage cooker. These take longer and need a different approach. An AGA has to be switched off the night before so it is cool when we arrive, and its enamel and hotplate lids need careful handling. Read our guide to AGA and range cooker cleaning before you book so you know what to expect.

Busy times of year

Late autumn is when many households want their oven cleaned ready for Christmas cooking, so book early if you are hoping for a December date. Landlords with rentals in Anlaby often book an oven clean between tenancies, because a dirty oven is one of the most common items on a check-out report. Between professional cleans, a liner on the oven floor and a quick wipe once it has cooled after a Sunday roast will slow the build-up considerably, and we are happy to suggest what suits your model. If the rest of the kitchen needs attention too, combine it with a deep clean in Anlaby, Willerby and Kirk Ella, and if you have family across the city, we also offer oven cleaning in Hull.

Our HU10 area page covers the other services we offer locally. To book, send us the make and type of your oven and we will confirm a fixed quote.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be home for the oven clean?

Not necessarily. Many customers let us in, then get on with their day or head out. If you will be out, you can leave a key or a key safe code. We just need the oven switched off and cool, and enough space in the kitchen for us to lay down protective sheets.

Can you clean an AGA or Rayburn?

Yes. Turn it off the evening before so it has fully cooled by the morning. We clean the ovens, hotplate lids, enamel top and front, working carefully around the insulated lids and seals. Larger heat-storage cookers take longer, so please tell us the model when you book.

When should I book an oven clean before Christmas?

As early as you can. Late November and December tend to be the busiest weeks for oven cleaning across HU10 and Hull, because so many people want a spotless oven before hosting. Booking in October or early November gives you the best choice of dates and leaves room to add a hob or extractor clean.

Do you clean ovens for landlords in Anlaby and Willerby?

Yes. We clean ovens in rental properties between tenancies and can collect keys from you or your letting agent, then invoice the landlord or agent directly. If the property needs a full move-out clean, we can arrange that alongside the oven so everything is ready for the inventory check.
